The First Time to Vietnam

Rob and Dan were visiting Vietnam for the first time, and they were really having a great time. They started in Saigon, and after three weeks, they decided to make Halong Bay the big finish to the trip. But, they didn’t have a hotel reservation for their last night after they got back from Ha Long Bay. While they were driving back to Hanoi, Rob said, “We need to get back to the city so we can find a hotel before dark. I wish the driver could speed up. At 5pm, the tour company’s car dropped them off in the middle of rush hour traffic in the busy Old Quarter on Ma May street. Dan said, “Ok, so now what do we do? Should we just try that hotel over there and see how expensive it is?” So, they walked into the hotel, and said hello to the man at the desk. They said ok to the price, and they asked if they could check in right away. “It’s our last day in Vietnam”, Dan said, “I’m so sad we have to fly home tomorrow.” Then, Rob asked, “What is the check out time?” The hotel clerk replied that they must check out before 11 o’clock, and asked if they wanted a car to pick them up in the morning to take them to the airport. So Rob said, “Well, I think we should ask the car to pick us up at 11 since the plane will take off at 1pm.” and Dan agreed. The clerk gave them their room key, and he said they would bring some bottles of drinking water in a few minutes because they had just run out. “We just ran out of water this morning, so I need to go buy more”, said the clerk. “I’ll bring them to your room, and I’ll also be here in the morning to see you off to the airport.”
